Studying for the Bar

Dan Danovsky further defines the art form behind cocktail crafting. Driven by passion and creativity Dan has brought outstanding cocktails to restaurants such as Brick Farm Tavern, The Peacock, and Cargot Brasserie. He has hosted pop-up speakeasies and traveled to bars throughout the country to serve as a guest bartender. 

I worked with Dan to photograph a series of cocktails to be launched as one of his pop-up speakeasies. Utilizing the nearby scenery of the Sourland Mountains I spent a day watching his craft and photographing his unique cocktails. Glasses and cocktials were lost to the waters rapids, tree branches, and more. The photos were released in a social media campaign to succesfully promote his first pop-up speakeasy, "S.I.N.".
