Fall In Love with Tuesdays

There's a new reason to fall in love with tuesdays, at least this week that is. We haven't even made it half way through the week, but luckily there has been a few releases to help you taste the weekend sunrise to sunset. Who needs the weekend anyways, right? Here are a few tracks brought to you by Ratking, ILoveMakonnen, Spooky Black, and Lucki Eck$. Weekend or not, these are all musts for your daily rotation, no questions asked. So, give these a listen and why not head into work tomorrow with a hangover:

The Harlem based hip-hop group Ratking is back at it with a remix of Phantogram's "Fall In Love". This group released one of the best hip-hop records this year hands down, So It Goes. A record that tells a story of life within the New York City streets, and each street corner and mishap reads as a subsequent chapter. More so a rework than a remix, the track shares the trios love for the music they create, coinciding with the lives they live. Even Sportinglife, the producer behind the gritty New York City soundscapes, spits a verse on this track. All in all, they've turned Phantogram's pop hit into yet another raw, emotion provoking, chapter of Ratking. Check out the remix below.

ILoveMakonnen has made it very clear that it is indeed Tuesday. The 25 year old rapper/singer/producer is from LA, but currently resides in Atlanta. His track "Club Going Up On A Tuesday" has just been crafted into a remix with October's Very Own. Drake hops in for a verse and brings us an even greater reason for us all to go into work tomorrow with a hangover.

Spooky Black is an artist that's hard to categorize. Maybe you could fit him in between The Weeknd and Yung Lean, but even that's questionable.  We know he's from Minnesota and wears a du-rag as he  mysteriously roams eerie, snowy forests. He just released his new EP, Leaving EP. This EP will bring you on a journey to find your own magical, murdered out, du-rag and turtle neck combo.

Danny Brown is all over the place lately. Releasing a video for the recent track with Rustie, "Attak", and now hoping on a track with Lucki Eck$, an 18 year old rapper out of Chicago who's been on the rise. Eck$ video for "Ouch Ouch" was actually directed by, and featured, UK artist FKA Twigs. He's come together and teamed up with Danny Brown for "Weightin' On", a heavy hitting track that really defines a new artist. Lucki Eck$ recently released his mixtape BODY HIGH and can be downloaded here.
